Three-pole IEC contactor rated for 50 A inductive and 80 A resistive loads at 220/240 V AC coil voltage
The Eaton XTCE050D00B is a three-pole IEC magnetic contactor rated for 50 A inductive and 80 A resistive current at 220/240 V AC. It mounts on DIN rail or panel using screw terminals and carries no auxiliary contacts. The transparent frame D housing measures 3.5 in high by 4 in wide.
This unit suits panels where the existing contactor has failed or where a non-reversing 50 A inductive rating is required. The jump is worth it when the current contactor shows coil burnout, contact welding or when the enclosure lacks a NEMA rating and an open-frame IEC device is specified.
Confirm the control circuit supplies 220/240 V AC to match the coil. Ensure 3.5 in of vertical and 4 in of horizontal clearance on the DIN rail or panel. Check that screw-terminal wiring reaches the contactor without strain and that no auxiliary contacts are needed for the control scheme.

The contactor measures 3.5 in height by 4 in width and mounts on standard DIN rail or directly to a panel using its frame size D footprint.
Connect the coil to 220/240V AC and the three main poles via screw terminals; the step often missed is confirming the coil voltage matches the control supply before energising.
Add an auxiliary contact block whenever the control circuit requires status feedback, since the base unit ships with 0 auxiliary contacts.
