A three-pole manual motor protector rated at 16 A with push-button operation for circuits up to 600 V AC
This Eaton XTPB manual motor protector provides overload protection for three-phase motors up to 16 A. It uses a push-button operator for manual start and stop control. The unit is rated for a maximum voltage of 600 V AC. It suits industrial control panels requiring basic motor safeguarding.
The three-pole design fits standard DIN rail installations inside control cabinets. Push-button operation frees panel space by removing the need for a separate rotary handle or external actuator. Transparent housing allows visual confirmation of contact status. Wiring connects directly to the front-access terminals.
At 480 V AC and 600 V AC three-phase the protector covers motors up to 10 hp. At 240 V AC three-phase it handles 5 hp and at 208 V AC three-phase it handles 3 hp. Single-phase ratings reach 2 hp at 240 V AC and 1 hp at 120 V AC. The fixed 16 A overload setting limits use to motors within that current range.

The overload relay trips at its maximum setting of 16 A, protecting the motor from sustained overcurrent.
Continuous operation at the rated 16 A produces heat typical for a Frame B manual motor protector; ensure the enclosure has adequate ventilation.
A three-phase supply up to 600 V AC is required to match the protector’s maximum voltage rating.
