Amber beacon for universal vehicle fit

The Ecco 7460CA-VM is a flashing amber beacon designed for universal vehicle compatibility. Its round, clear-lens housing contains eight LED heads that produce a SAE J845 Class 2 warning pattern. The unit operates on a wide 12-36V DC range, making it suitable for diverse fleet and RV electrical systems.

46 watts of LED output with IP66 sealing

At 46 W the beacon delivers high-intensity flashing visible in daylight and low-light conditions. The IP66 rating confirms protection against powerful water jets and dust ingress, so the light maintains performance in heavy rain, wash-downs or dusty work sites. Voltage headroom up to 36 V absorbs alternator spikes without damage.

Removable plug mount for flexible daily use

Installation uses a removable plug connection, allowing the beacon to be fitted or removed in seconds without tools. The compact 6 3/8 in diameter and 3 1/8 in height keep the profile low on roof lines or light bars. Amber output meets Class 2 conspicuity requirements for construction, utility and recovery vehicles.

Questions about this item

Will the 12-36V DC range let the beacon run on my older 12 V RV battery without a converter?

Yes, the operating voltage spans 12 to 36 V DC, so a standard 12 V system powers it directly.

How can I confirm the flashing pattern meets the SAE J845 Class 2 rating once it is mounted?

The beacon flashes amber at the rated 46 W output; visual inspection of the steady flash rate against the Class 2 spec confirms compliance.

Does the box include a mounting bracket or only the beacon with its plug connection?

The beacon ships with the integrated plug for electrical connection; any mounting hardware for the removable installation is sold separately.
