Mounting Plate for RV Lighting

The Ecco EZ2000HBT mounting plate is a steel component designed for recreational vehicle lighting installations. Its black finish suits standard exterior and interior light fixtures on RVs and trailers.

Suitable for Standard Light Fixtures

This plate fits common 3-1/2 inch square mounting patterns used on many RV clearance and marker lights. Installers needing a different bolt pattern or a larger surface area should select an alternative bracket.

Steel Construction With 1/8 Inch Profile

The 3-1/2 by 3-1/2 inch steel plate provides a rigid base for securing light housings to the vehicle body. The low 1/8 inch height keeps the assembly close to the mounting surface.

Questions about this item

Does this mounting plate require any specific hardware or tools to install on my RV?

The plate is made of steel and measures 3 1/2 inches square with a 1/8 inch height, so you will need appropriate bolts or screws sized for the 7/64 inch holes and a wrench or driver to secure it.

Will this plate fit the existing light brackets on an older RV model?

The plate has a 3 1/2 inch square footprint and 7/64 inch mounting holes, so it will work with older brackets that share the same hole pattern and spacing.

How can I confirm the plate is securely mounted after installation?

After tightening the fasteners through the 7/64 inch holes, the steel plate should sit flat against the surface with no movement or gaps along its 3 1/2 inch edges.
