What this keyboard is

The Dareu DK100 is a full-size wired mechanical keyboard with 104 blue-switch keys and a USB interface. It uses Dareu's self-contained mechanical switches rated for 50 million keystrokes and features double-colour injection keycaps in black with orange legends. No backlighting is included.

What it upgrades

The board replaces membrane or low-profile keyboards with full-key rollover and a 1000 Hz polling rate for faster response. Blue switches add audible click feedback and a 2 mm actuation point, making the step worthwhile for users who want distinct tactile and audible confirmation on every press.

Who it suits and who it doesn't

Writers and gamers who prefer a clicky, tactile feel and a standard 104-key layout will find the DK100 a reliable daily driver. Buyers who need RGB illumination, a compact form factor, wireless connectivity or dedicated macro keys should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the DK100 so I can check desk clearance?

The keyboard measures 440 mm wide, 140 mm deep and 36 mm high, so verify that your desk space accommodates that footprint.

How do I install the DK100 and what is the step users often miss?

Plug the USB cable into a free port; the driver installs automatically, but users often forget to wait for the "device ready" notification before typing.

When will the mechanical switches or keycaps need replacement?

The self-contained mechanical switches are rated for 50 million keystrokes and the double-colour injection keycaps resist legend wear, so replacement is rarely needed under normal use.
