Compact TKL mechanical keyboard

The Dareu DK100 is a tenkeyless mechanical keyboard with 87 keys in a black finish. It uses Dareu proprietary brown switches rated for 50 million keystrokes, 2 mm travel and 50 g actuation force. A USB wired connection provides 1000 Hz polling for low-latency input. Double-shot keycaps keep legends readable without backlighting.

Suited for typing and gaming at a small desk

The 354 x 128 x 35 mm footprint saves space for mouse movement and fits both Windows 7 or later and macOS 10.11 or later. Users who need a numeric keypad, dedicated media keys or RGB illumination will not find those features here. The wired-only design also rules out wireless setups.

Brown tactile switches without click

Brown switches give a tactile bump but no audible click, balancing feedback for typing with quiet operation for shared spaces. If you prefer linear travel or a clicky feel, this switch type will not match that preference.

Questions about this item

Which key count should I choose for a compact desk setup?

The DK100 is offered with an 87-key layout, which removes the numeric keypad and fits a 354 by 128 mm footprint.

What does the 1000 Hz polling rate mean for actual typing and gaming?

It reports key presses up to 1000 times per second, so input lag is minimal and rapid keystrokes register reliably.

How does the USB interface limit the keyboard's performance?

The wired USB connection supplies both power and data, capping the polling rate at the stated 1000 Hz without needing batteries or drivers.
