Thermals, noise and power draw

Questions about this item

How do I insert the 32 GB SDHC card and which orientation mistake should I avoid?

Align the label side up and the notched corner toward the slot, then slide the card in until it clicks; forcing it upside-down bends the contact pins and damages the 82.7 mil thick housing.

What long-term care does the Class 10 UHS-I U1 card require and when should I replace it?

Reformat in-camera every few months to clear file-system errors, store in a static-safe case at room temperature, and retire the card if write speeds drop below 10 MB/s or read errors appear despite reformatting.
