Compact Gaming Audio

The Edifier G1500 Hecate is a 2.0 speaker system built for desktop gamers who want a small footprint and multiple connection choices. It delivers 10W total peak power through two 2.5 inch full-range drivers tuned for clear gaming, music and movie playback. RGB light strips on each unit add a visual accent suited to an esports setup.

Thermals and Power

The speakers draw power directly from a USB connection so no external power brick is required and heat output stays low during normal use. Passive cooling keeps the cabinets silent when idle and the only audible sound comes from the drivers themselves. Bluetooth 5.3 maintains a stable wireless link without adding measurable latency for casual listening.

Build and Connectivity

Each cabinet measures 4.1 by 4.5 by 6.6 inches and weighs 2.16 lbs, making them easy to reposition on a crowded desk. A single USB cable handles both power and audio, while a 3.5 mm auxiliary jack and Bluetooth 5.3 give quick access to phones, tablets or consoles. A mode button cycles through Game, Music and Movie EQ presets without software installation.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the Edifier G1500 Hecate speakers to my PC using USB?

Plug the USB cable into your computer; the built-in sound card is recognised automatically, then press the power/mode button until the indicator shows USB mode.

Will the RGB lighting on the G1500 Hecate fade or need replacement over time?

The RGB straps use solid-state LEDs rated for tens of thousands of hours; no user-replaceable parts are involved.

At what volume level does the 10 W peak power limit start to compress dynamics during long gaming sessions?

Sustained output near the 10 W peak may trigger thermal protection, so keep typical listening a few decibels below maximum.
