2.1 Gaming Speaker System

The Edifier G1500 MAX is a 2.1 computer speaker system built around dual 2.5-inch satellite drivers and a 4-inch wooden subwoofer. It delivers 60 watts of peak power for room-filling sound during gaming, music playback or movie sessions. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.3, USB, Type-C and a 3.5 mm AUX input for up to three devices. Ten RGB light effects let you match the system to your setup.

Thermals Noise Power Draw

The wooden subwoofer cabinet uses a hidden reflex port to reduce acoustic resonance while keeping bass full and controlled. DSP processing manages three distinct sound modes for game, music and movie content without adding audible artefacts. Wireless Bluetooth 5.3 streaming and wired inputs operate without a cooling fan, so the system runs silently when idle or at moderate volume.

Sustained Load Behaviour

During extended play the wooden enclosure helps maintain consistent low-frequency response by minimising cabinet vibration. The 60-watt amplifier reserves headroom for dynamic peaks in game soundtracks or action scenes without compressing the output. Buyers who need a dedicated line-level subwoofer output for an external amplifier will not find that connection on this model.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the satellites to the subwoofer and which step is often missed?

Connect each satellite to the subwoofer using the RCA cables provided; the step often missed is matching the left and right channels to the correct coloured ports on the subwoofer rear panel.

What part will need replacement first and how can I tell?

The 4‑inch subwoofer driver is the component most likely to wear over time; listen for rattling or loss of low‑frequency output as an early sign.

At what volume level does the 60 W amplifier start to clip during long sessions?

Sustained playback near the 60 W peak power limit will cause the DSP to engage protection and reduce output to prevent distortion.
