Edifier G1500bar Soundbar 7.1 Gaming Speaker with Mic Black

What this soundbar delivers

The Edifier G1500bar is a desktop speaker system built for gamers who want virtual 7.1 surround audio from a single bar. It combines two active drivers with two passive bass radiators to extend low frequencies without a separate subwoofer. A detachable boom microphone with a hardware mute switch handles voice chat, and 13 RGB lighting effects add visual flair. Three selectable sound modes tune the output for movies, games or music playback.

Connections to verify on your PC

This unit connects through a USB port for power and digital audio, a 3.5 mm analogue jack for legacy sources, and Bluetooth for wireless streaming from phones or tablets. Ensure your computer has a free USB-A socket and a 3.5 mm headset or line-out jack if you plan to use the wired analogue path. The microphone plugs into the bar itself, so no extra mic port on the motherboard is required.

Build details that affect daily use

The bar’s all-black plastic chassis sits flat on a desk and draws power entirely from USB, so no external power brick is needed. The microphone snaps on and off and includes a physical mute toggle for quick privacy. RGB lighting is controlled via the driver software, letting you match or disable the 13 effects. Passive radiators face outward, so keep the front and sides unobstructed for the fullest bass response.
