Edifier HECATE G1000 2.0 Desktop Speakers

The Edifier HECATE G1000 is a 2.0 stereo speaker system built for desktop and laptop users who want simple, wired or wireless audio. Each satellite uses a 2.5 inch full-range driver to deliver 10 watts of peak power. The compact black cabinets measure 4.7 by 3.6 by 4.4 inches and weigh 0.962 kilograms together.

12 RGB Patterns and Multi-Input Connectivity

Twelve selectable RGB lighting patterns let you match the speakers to your desktop theme. Connection options include Bluetooth 5.3 for phones and tablets, a USB sound-card link for computers, and a 3.5 mm auxiliary jack for legacy devices. The package supplies the speaker-to-speaker cable so the pair works immediately.

Suited for Casual Gaming and Multimedia

These speakers suit gamers and streamers who need compact stereo sound with visual flair and flexible inputs. Buyers who want more storage or a separate subwoofer for deeper bass should look at something else. Users requiring high-fidelity monitoring or multi-channel surround will need a different class of audio system.

Questions about this item

How often will the 2.5-inch dynamic drivers need replacement under normal use?

The 2.5-inch dynamic drivers are built into each sealed satellite and have no user-serviceable parts; they are designed to last the speaker's lifetime without scheduled replacement.

Which limit appears first when the 10-watt system runs at high volume for hours?

The 10-watt peak power ceiling is reached before thermal limits, so sustained loud playback will hit maximum output level rather than overheating the amplifier.

How much heat or fan noise do the Bluetooth 5.3 speakers produce during all-day operation?

The compact 4.7-by-3.6-by-4.4-inch cabinets use passive cooling with no fan, so they stay warm but silent even after continuous Bluetooth 5.3 streaming.
