Compact stereo speaker with RGB lighting

The Edifier M25 is a 5 W desktop speaker that delivers 360° stereo sound from two 52 mm dynamic drivers. It connects via USB-A or Bluetooth and includes app control for lighting and audio settings. The unit measures 383 x 71 x 86 mm and weighs 0.79 kg.

Suited for close-range listening.

This speaker fits users who want a tidy, powered soundbar for a monitor or laptop. The 5 W total output and 80 Hz–19 kHz frequency range serve near-field use well. Buyers who need deeper bass, higher SPL or multi-room audio should look at larger systems.

5 W total power from dual 52 mm drivers

The single specification that decides fit is the 2.5 W per channel rating driving two 52 mm units. If your desk setup needs only modest volume for music, calls or video, this power level is adequate. If you require louder playback or sub-bass extension, a higher-wattage speaker is necessary.

Questions about this item

What is the maximum power output before the 52 mm drivers reach their limit during sustained playback?

The system delivers 5 W total, with each 52 mm driver rated at 2.5 W, so sustained output is capped at that level.

How much audible noise does the speaker add when running continuously at full volume?

The quoted signal-to-noise ratio is below 25 dB, meaning added hiss is minimal even during all-day use.

Which USB port must my computer provide to power and carry audio to this speaker?

A standard USB-A port supplying 5 V at 1 A is required for both power and the wired audio connection.
