Suited for listeners wanting long wireless

Buyers needing up to 88 hours of playback without ANC or 49 hours with ANC enabled will appreciate the battery life. Fast charging provides 15 hours of use from a 15-minute charge. The Volume Guard feature helps maintain safe listening levels. This model is not for users who require a foldable design for compact storage.

-49 dB hybrid ANC with multiple environment modes

The headline noise-cancellation figure is -49dB, achieved through hybrid ANC technology. Physical buttons on the earcups allow quick switching between ANC levels. The companion app adds specialised modes for sport, office and travel scenarios. This single specification determines how effectively the headphones isolate you from ambient noise.

Questions about this item

How often will the ear pads on the Edifier W820NBPLUS 2025 need replacing with daily use?

The ear pads are replaceable and typically last one to two years depending on wear and skin oils; spares are available from Edifier.

What limits continuous listening on the Edifier W820NBPLUS 2025 during a long flight?

Battery life reaches 88 hours with ANC off and 49 hours with ANC on, so the charge level is the practical limit.

How warm do the Edifier W820NBPLUS 2025 get and how much noise does the ANC produce after hours of wear?

The over-ear cups stay near skin temperature and the hybrid ANC runs silently; no audible hiss is reported at the -49 dB setting.
