Product Identity

The eForChina 6-Key 2.4G Wireless Mouse is a portable optical pointing device with six buttons including a scroll wheel and page-turning controls. It connects via a 2.4 GHz USB receiver for plug-and-play operation without drivers. Power comes from two AAA batteries which are not included. The MX8650 sensor delivers adjustable resolution at 800, 1200, or 1600 DPI.

Ideal Users and Limitations

This mouse suits office workers and casual users who want a lightweight wireless mouse with basic navigation buttons and adjustable sensitivity. It works at a sensing distance of about 10 to 15 metres. Buyers who need programmable macros, rechargeable batteries, or higher tracking speeds for competitive gaming should look at other models.

Deciding Specification

The MX8650 sensor tops out at 1600 DPI with a tracking speed of 28 IPS and a refresh rate of 3000 FPS. These figures determine whether the mouse responds quickly enough for your workflow. If you require higher DPI settings or faster maximum tracking speeds, this specification indicates the product will not meet that need.

Questions about this item

Should I pick 800, 1200 or 1600 DPI for daily work?

Start at 1200 DPI for general office tasks; drop to 800 DPI for precise selection or raise to 1600 DPI if you move across multiple monitors and want less hand travel.

What does the 28 IPS tracking speed mean when I am actually using the mouse?

It tracks reliably up to 28 inches per second, so fast swipes across the pad will not lose cursor control during quick navigation or gaming flicks.

How does the 2.4 GHz USB receiver limit the wireless range?

The 2.4 GHz link works at about 10 to 15 metres in clear space; walls or metal objects will reduce that practical distance.
