Transparent Protection for Forerunner 245

This electroplated TPU case wraps the Garmin Forerunner 245 in a clear shell that preserves the original look while guarding against everyday scratches. It is made for owners who want full coverage without hiding the watch face or adding noticeable bulk.

Lightweight Design with Full Button Access

The thin TPU layer adds virtually no weight and keeps every port, button and sensor uncovered for normal operation. Heat and sound are not relevant factors for a passive watch case, so the accessory simply stays out of the way during workouts and daily wear.

Flip Cover Style Without Strap Removal

The flip-case format snaps on securely while the band stays in place, so installation takes seconds and does not require tools. Buyers who prefer a rugged bumper or a metal bezel should look elsewhere, as this model prioritises transparency and minimal weight over heavy-duty impact resistance.

Questions about this item

How do I install the case without removing the strap?

The case fits over the Forerunner 245 while the strap stays attached; simply snap the edges around the watch body until all sides click into place.

Will the electroplated finish wear off and need replacement?

The TPU shell with electroplated coating is designed to resist daily abrasion; if the silver layer eventually dulls, the whole case is replaced as a single piece.

Does the transparent cover reduce touchscreen or button response during long workouts?

The case leaves all ports and buttons directly accessible and adds no measurable thickness, so responsiveness stays the same even during extended sessions.
