Perfect Fit for Insta360 X3

This waterproof housing is fully suitable for the Insta360 X3 action camera. It is built for divers, snorkelers and swimmers who need reliable protection down to 30 metres. The flip case design keeps the camera secure during water sport activities.

Pressure Limit at 30 Metres

The housing is rated for 30 metres of underwater depth, making it suitable for recreational diving and surface sports. Beyond that depth the sealing ring and latch may not hold against increasing pressure. The amorphous high-activity silica gel ring maintains tightness within the rated limit.

Simple Flip Installation

The flip case opens on a high hardness 304 stainless steel shaft, allowing quick camera insertion. Silicone buttons operate the camera controls through the housing. Users must ensure the silica gel ring is clean and seated correctly, otherwise leaks can occur.

Questions about this item

Does the 30 m depth rating cover every button and seal on the housing?

Yes, the 30 m full-body waterproof design protects the entire case, including the silicone buttons and the amorphous high-activity silica gel waterproof ring, so all controls remain sealed at that depth.

What does the 360-degree transparency claim mean for footage shot at 30 m?

The high-transparency PC and glass construction maintains high transmittance, so the lenses capture clear, undistorted 360-degree video and photos even at the maximum rated depth.

How does the 304 stainless-steel connecting shaft affect the waterproof seal?

The high-hardness 304 stainless-steel hinge keeps the back cover aligned under pressure, preserving the silica-gel ring seal and preventing leaks during deep dives.
