Wired Gaming Mouse 1600 DPI

The eForChina SXS-838 is a wired gaming mouse built around a fixed 1600 DPI optical sensor. Its honeycomb hollow shell reduces the weight to 65g for quick movements. RGB lighting adds visual flair to a desktop setup. The 1.5 metre cable connects via USB for immediate use.

USB Wired Connection Limits

The USB wired link removes latency concerns and battery management but restricts movement to the 1.5 metre cable length. Drag can occur if the cord catches on desk edges during fast swipes. No wireless freedom or on-the-fly DPI switching is available with this fixed-sensor design. The single polling rate is set by the USB interface.

Lightweight Plug-and-Play Setup

Installation requires only plugging the USB connector into a free port; no driver download is needed for basic operation. The ultra-light 65g build feels unfamiliar at first and may overshoot targets until muscle memory adjusts. The open honeycomb structure can trap dust and hair, requiring occasional compressed-air cleaning. Cable routing is the only recurring hassle.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 1600 DPI version of the SXS-838 or look for a higher setting?

This model is fixed at 1600 DPI with no on-the-fly switching, so choose it if that sensitivity matches your preference; otherwise you will need a different mouse with adjustable DPI.

What does the 1600 DPI rating actually feel like in daily use?

The sensor moves the pointer 1600 counts per inch of physical travel, giving a moderate speed that works for both fast-paced gaming and precise desktop tasks without requiring driver changes.

Does the USB wired connection limit the polling rate or cable length?

The mouse uses a standard USB wired link with a 1.5 metre cable, so polling rate is determined by the host controller and the fixed length may restrict desk placement compared to longer or wireless options.
