EIGHTREE ET10 Smart Plug 15A

The EIGHTREE ET10 is a Wi-Fi smart plug rated at 15A for 120V circuits. It connects to a 2.4GHz network and works with Alexa, Google Home and SmartThings through the SmartLife app. No separate hub is required. The compact white design allows two units to sit side-by-side in a standard duplex outlet.

Check 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and app setup

Your router must broadcast a 2.4GHz SSID; the plug will not join a 5GHz band. During initial pairing your smartphone needs Bluetooth enabled and the SmartLife app installed. Voice control with Alexa requires linking the SmartLife skill first. The device does not support IFTTT integration.

Replaces basic timers and non-connected outlets

This plug upgrades mechanical timers or dumb power strips by adding remote on/off, countdown timers and weekly schedules from anywhere. The jump is worth it if you want voice-activated scenes or group control for lamps, fans or seasonal lights. Buyers needing energy monitoring, 5GHz Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Matter or outdoor IP44 protection should look elsewhere.
