Single 1/4-inch hex key
The Eklind 16216 is a SAE hex key with a 1/4-inch tip on both ends. It suits mechanics and technicians who need a single size for recurring fastener work. The chrome-plated HAWA steel resists corrosion during daily use. A pack contains ten identical keys for shop stocking.
Long arm for reach and leverage
The 5 1/4-inch long arm reaches recessed bolts while providing extra turning leverage. The 1 1/8-inch short arm fits tight clearances where the long arm cannot turn. Both ends share the same tip so the tool flips without changing bits. No tether point or insulation is fitted.
Sustained torque without rounding
The plated HAWA material holds its profile under repeated high-torque cycles better than uncoated alloy. Corrosion resistance keeps the flats true when the key is stored in damp environments. The fixed two-tip design eliminates moving parts that could loosen under vibration. Non-sparking and non-magnetic ratings are not claimed.

Questions about this item
How much torque can the 1/4 in hex tip take before it rounds off?
The key is made from HAWA steel with a plated finish for corrosion resistance, giving a hard tip that resists rounding under normal hand-applied torque.
Does the tool get hot or slip after prolonged use?
The plated HAWA steel body does not generate heat during hand use and the plain hex profile provides positive engagement without slipping.
What drive size or handle is needed to turn this key?
The 1/4 in hex tip fits directly into SAE fasteners; no separate drive tool or handle is required.
