This Eldraqth USB 2.0 cable has a Type A female connector on one end and a Type B male connector on the other. It extends the reach between a host computer and a USB-B peripheral such as a printer, scanner or fax machine. The 1.67 ft total length gives a little extra slack for desk routing without creating a long cable run.

Speed and practical limits

The link runs at the USB 2.0 maximum of 480 Mbps, which is sufficient for typical document printing and scanning tasks. It will not support the higher throughput of USB 3.0 or later standards, so it is not suited for fast external storage or high-resolution video capture devices that need more bandwidth.

Build and everyday use
