Windproof Plasma Arc Lighter

This electric dual arc lighter uses plasma arcs instead of flame, making it windproof and flameless for reliable ignition in adverse weather. It is designed for campers, hikers and outdoor enthusiasts who need a dependable fire starter without carrying butane fuel. The IP56 rated waterproof construction with a sealed cover and locking clasp ensures function during rain or splashes.

Replaces Butane Lighters

It replaces disposable butane lighters and matches that fail when wet or exposed to strong wind. The jump is worth it when you need consistent ignition in damp conditions or want to avoid refilling fuel on extended trips. A rechargeable lithium battery removes the need to purchase or pack flammable gas canisters for survival kits or daily carry.

Simple USB Charging

Charging takes about two hours using the included short USB cable, after which the lighter is ready for immediate use. The thick paracord lanyard allows secure attachment to packs or gear loops to prevent loss in the field. The main caution is to avoid use near metal objects as warned by the manufacturer.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the 2.7 in x 0.47 in x 1.87 in camouflage lighter so I know if it fits my pack pocket?

The lighter measures 2.7 in long, 0.47 in wide and 1.87 in high, a slim profile that slips into most tactical pants pockets or MOLLE pouches.

How do I charge the USB rechargeable lithium battery correctly, and what step do users often miss?

Plug the supplied short USB cable into any 5 V port; charge for about 2 hours until the indicator stops blinking — users often forget to close the metal-ring sealed cover afterwards, which keeps the IP56 waterproof rating intact.

When will the dual arc electrodes need attention, and what maintenance is required?

The plasma arcs are maintenance-free, but the lithium cell will hold less charge after several hundred cycles; at that point the whole unit is replaced because the battery is not user-serviceable.
