Ready-to-use SIM for Megastek GVT-800 tracker

This prepaid SIM card is built specifically for the Megastek GVT-800 IoT tracker and activates with a simple install-and-go process. It includes the GPScards mobile app and web portal for live tracking on Google Maps™. The card works with over 1500 GPS tracker models across 4G, 3G, 2G and LTE CatM1 bands. Buyers who need a SIM for a smartphone or tablet should look elsewhere.

Zero hardware heat, noise or power draw

The SIM card itself is a passive electronic component that generates no heat and makes no sound. It draws negligible power from the tracker's own supply, so it does not affect the device's battery life or thermal behaviour. There are no fans, radiators or active cooling requirements to consider. Installers who expect a separate power adapter or cooling clearance will find none is needed.

Triple-cut format fits any tracker slot

The card arrives in a 3-in-1 punch-out that provides nano, micro and standard sizes to match the tracker's SIM tray. No adapter or cutting tool is required, and the package includes the mobile app for immediate configuration. The SIM unlocks the tracker's cellular connectivity so the hardware can report position data to the cloud. Builders who need a dedicated data plan for a dash-cam or hotspot will need a different product.

Questions about this item

How do I install the SIM in the Megastek GVT-800 and which adapter size do I use?

The card comes as a 3-in-1 punch-out; push out the nano section, insert it into the tracker's tray with the gold contacts facing down, then activate via the GPScards app so the server-side provisioning finishes automatically.

Will the SIM need any renewal or replacement after the initial period?

The prepaid plan is sold as unlimited data with no recurring top-up mentioned, so the SIM itself should not require replacement unless it is physically damaged or the tracker is upgraded to a device needing a different form factor.

What is the first limitation I will hit during continuous real-time tracking?

The connection falls back through 4G, 3G and 2G bands including LTE CatM1, so the first practical limit is the local cellular coverage and signal quality rather than a data cap or throttling threshold.
