Product Identity

Battlefield 1 Premium Pass is a downloadable expansion pack for Xbox One, published by Electronic Arts under model 7D4-00171. It adds four themed digital expansions to the base game, starting with They Shall Not Pass in March 2017. The content is rated M for Mature by the ESRB.

Base Game Requirement

This DLC requires the original Battlefield 1 game to function and cannot be played as a standalone title. The digital code is locked to the Xbox One DRM platform and delivers the Premium Pass features directly to the linked account. Buyers who do not own the base shooter should acquire it first.

Sustained Access

The Premium Pass grants two weeks of early access to each expansion pack as they release across the service period. New multiplayer maps and armies arrive in scheduled drops, extending the multiplayer rotation over many months. Players who prefer a single purchase without ongoing content drops will not benefit from this structure.

Questions about this item

Does the Premium Pass include the base Battlefield 1 game or just the four expansion packs?

The Premium Pass only adds the four themed expansion packs with two weeks' early access; the base Battlefield 1 game is required and sold separately.

How is the DLC delivered and which platform account does it bind to?

It is a digital code that redeems on an Xbox One account through the Xbox DRM system, adding the pass to your library for download.

What does the download package actually contain on the console?

The download unlocks the Premium Pass entitlement, granting access to the four expansion packs — starting with They Shall Not Pass in March 2017 — plus new maps, armies and weapons.
