Digital code and platform

This product is a downloadable digital code for Madden NFL 16 Deluxe Edition on Xbox One. It is rated E for Everyone and targets players who want the full base game plus the bundled Ultimate Team content. The code redeems directly on the Xbox platform without physical media. Buyers receive the Deluxe Edition published by EA with the sports simulation gameplay the series is known for.

Account and redemption requirements

You need an active Xbox Live account and an Xbox One console connected to the internet to redeem the code. The Deluxe Edition content includes 36 Madden Ultimate Team Pro Packs delivered at a rate of three packs per week for 12 weeks starting 1 September 2015. A Playmaker Pack is granted at the moment of code redemption. All promotional pack offers expired on 6 June 2016 so those items can no longer be claimed.

Power and thermal impact

As a digital game licence the product adds no hardware load of its own. Power draw, thermals and noise depend entirely on the Xbox One console running the title. The console handles disc-less installation and background downloads while you play. No additional cooling or power supply considerations apply beyond the standard requirements of the console itself.
