The Elgato ZY-UCH602 is a 4K-input HDMI capture device that records or streams at 1080p 60fps. It connects consoles, DSLRs or camcorders to a PC, Mac or Android host for live production, broadcasting or video conferencing. The HDMI loop-out lets you keep playing on a local monitor while the capture feed goes to the computer. No internal installation is required.

Thermal noise power

The unit is a compact external dongle powered entirely from the host USB port. It runs silently with no moving parts and draws only the current the USB specification allows. Under continuous 1080p 60fps capture the enclosure stays warm but not hot, and no fan noise is added to the recording environment. A desktop or laptop with an Intel i5-class CPU, 4 GB RAM and a graphics card is recommended for sustained operation.

Software accessories

OBS, VLC and Amcap are natively recognised without driver installation on Windows, macOS and Android. The bundled loop-through cable enables pass-through monitoring so the source display remains active while streaming.
