Glass electric kettle

This 1.7 litre glass electric kettle uses a 1500 watt element to bring water to a rolling boil quickly. An automatic shut-off activates the moment boiling finishes and boil-dry protection cuts power if the kettle runs empty. A blue LED ring at the base lights during every boil cycle for clear visual feedback.

Households wanting fast hot water

The 7.2 cup capacity suits families preparing tea, pour-over coffee, instant meals or multiple mugs at once. One-button operation and a lid-lock release keep filling and pouring simple. Buyers who need variable temperature settings or a keep-warm function should look at a different appliance.

1500 watt rapid boil element

The 1500 watt heating element determines how fast the 1.7 litre volume reaches boiling point. A 360 degree cordless swivel base lets you lift and pour from any angle without a tethered cord. A stainless mesh filter at the spout traps sediment for a clean pour.

Questions about this item

How do I descale the 1.7L glass body and clean the stainless mesh filter at the spout?

Mix equal parts white vinegar and water up to the 1.7 mark, boil once, let sit fifteen minutes, then rinse thoroughly; the coarse stainless mesh filter lifts out for a quick scrub under running water.

What stops the 1500W element if the kettle is switched on without water or runs dry during a boil?

Built-in boil-dry protection cuts power to the 1500W element the moment the sensor detects no water, preventing damage to the heater and glass body.

How hot does the mint-coloured exterior get and does the blue LED ring stay on during a full day of repeated boils?

The glass body becomes very hot during each boil cycle; the blue LED illuminates only while the 1500W element is actively heating and turns off automatically once boiling finishes.
