What this kettle does

The Elite Gourmet EKT5051 is a 1.7 litre cordless electric kettle designed for quick boiling of water for tea, coffee or instant meals. Its BPA-free construction and clear-view water window suit everyday kitchen use.

Deciding specification

The 1.7 litre capacity determines how much water you can heat in one cycle. If you regularly need more than this volume for larger gatherings or cooking tasks, a single fill will not be sufficient.

Capacity and limits

The kettle comfortably handles multiple cups per boil with its generous 1.7 litre volume and fast heat-up. It runs out when demand exceeds that amount, requiring a refill and reheat for additional servings.

Questions about this item

How quickly does the 1.7 litre capacity actually boil?

The kettle brings two cups to a boil in two minutes or less, so a full 1.7 litre fill will take a little longer but still delivers rapid hot water for tea or coffee.

What does the 360 degree swivel base allow in daily use?

The base lets you lift the kettle from any angle and replace it without aligning a connector, giving true cordless pouring at the table or desk.

What are the exact dimensions I need to clear on my worktop?

The unit measures 8.19 inches long, 6.5 inches wide and 9.06 inches high, so allow at least that footprint plus a little clearance for the lid to open.
