Product Identity

The Elite Screens Spectrum is a 120-inch diagonal electric motorised projector screen with a 4:3 native aspect ratio and multi-aspect functionality. It targets home-theatre enthusiasts and commercial installers who need a large, front-projection surface that deploys at the touch of a button.

Sustained Operation

A tubular motor drives the screen smoothly up and down for repeated daily cycles without the jerkiness of cheaper mechanisms. MaxWhite 2 material rated at 1.1 gain maintains consistent brightness and a 180-degree viewing cone across long sessions, while the black backing prevents light bleed-through during extended use.

Critical Specification

The screen requires a standard-throw projector and is explicitly not compatible with ultra-short-throw models. Buyers who only have ultra-short-throw units must choose a different surface.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 120" Spectrum screen draw when the motor runs all day?

The built-in tubular motor operates on a standard 3-prong 120 V connection; power draw is only momentary during up or down movement and drops to zero once the screen stops.

Which projector throw type must I already own for this MaxWhite 2 surface to work correctly?

The screen is designed for standard-throw projectors only; it is not compatible with ultra-short-throw or short-throw models.

Will the included 12 V trigger cable synchronize with an older projector that has a 5 V trigger output?

Yes, the built-in trigger port accepts 5–12 V signals, so legacy 5 V projectors can still automate screen drop and rise.
