27 inch projected-capacitive touch display

The Elo Touch Solutions 2702L is a 27 inch full-HD desktop monitor with projected-capacitive technology that recognises up to ten simultaneous touch points. It connects through USB for touch control and offers both VGA and HDMI video inputs. The zero-bezel glass surface is clear and the unit ships without a stand, making it suitable for custom mounting or integration into kiosk enclosures.

Capacity and headroom for touch applications

Ten-touch capability handles multi-user interactions and complex gestures without queueing. Full-HD resolution on a 27 inch panel provides enough pixel density for readable text and detailed graphics in point-of-sale or self-service scenarios. The display runs out of headroom when an application demands higher than full-HD resolution, more than ten concurrent touch points, or video inputs beyond VGA and HDMI. Buyers needing a built-in stand, additional video interfaces, or higher pixel density should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 2702L's VGA and HDMI inputs work with my existing POS terminal that only has VGA output?

Yes, the 2702L provides both VGA and HDMI video interfaces, so you can connect directly to a VGA-only terminal using the VGA port.

How can I verify the 10-touch projected capacitive screen is responding correctly after connecting the USB controller?

Open your OS touch calibration tool and perform a multi-finger test; all ten simultaneous touch points should register accurately across the 27-inch zero-bezel display.
