Purpose-built open-frame touchscreen

The Elo 2494L is a 23.8 inch open-frame LCD touchscreen monitor designed for system integrators and OEMs building commercial kiosks. Its projected capacitive technology supports 10 point multi-touch for accurate, drift-free interaction in self-service, gaming, industrial automation and healthcare environments. The 1920 x 1080 Full HD panel delivers 16.7 million colours at 250 cd/m² brightness.

Connectivity and response limits

Video input is provided through HDMI, VGA and DisplayPort interfaces while touch data communicates over USB. The panel's typical response time is 16 ms, which suits standard point-of-sale and kiosk workloads but is not intended for high-speed gaming or motion-critical applications. The 16:9 aspect ratio and LED backlight complete the display specification.

Integration checklist

Verify that your enclosure can accommodate the open-frame form factor and that the available video outputs match HDMI, VGA or DisplayPort. Confirm the host system provides a USB port for the touch controller and that the operating system supports 10 point multi-touch without additional drivers. The monitor carries RoHS, China RoHS and WEEE compliance markings.
