What the software is and who it targets

eMedia Intermediate Piano and Keyboard Method (Windows) is a downloadable tuition program that delivers over 150 step-by-step lessons and over 50 large-format videos. It is designed for players who have already mastered basic piano skills and want structured guidance to improve technique, music theory, blues piano and improvisation. The curriculum includes 50 classic pieces from composers such as Chopin, Irving Berlin and Jelly Roll Morton.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This suits intermediate pianists and keyboardists who use a Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8 computer and want interactive feedback while they practise. It works with both acoustic pianos and electronic MIDI-compatible keyboards. Buyers who need macOS compatibility, mobile device support or an operating system newer than Windows 8 should look at something else.

The specification that decides fit

The only supported operating systems are Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8, delivered as a download. If your computer runs any other OS, this product will not install or run.

Questions about this item

Does the download package include future updates or new lesson content after purchase?

The product is delivered as a fixed download containing over 150 lessons and 50 videos; no subscription or update service is mentioned.

Will my computer's audio hardware limit the real-time feedback features during long practice sessions?

Instant Feedback and Note Tracker rely on standard microphone or MIDI input; no specific audio-hardware requirements are listed beyond a Windows XP/Vista/7/8 system.

How much fan noise or heat should I expect from the PC while running the software all day?

The application is a lightweight instructional program with no heavy rendering; it adds negligible load, so system noise and temperature stay at normal idle levels.
