Product Purpose

The Emerson acrylic keyboard stand with integrated silicone wrist rest raises a full-size keyboard to one of four preset angles measuring .39, .47 or .78 inches above the desk. Office workers and home users who type for long periods gain a tilted platform that keeps wrists straight and reduces forearm strain.

Thermals Noise Power

Passive acrylic construction produces no fan noise, draws no power and adds no measurable heat to the workstation. The .5-inch front lip and silicone strips on the underside keep the stand from sliding while protecting the desktop surface from scratches.

Sustained Use

The 16.9 by 5.7 inch footprint fits most standard keyboards and leaves a 17 by 4.5 inch wrist rest area that retains its shape during all-day sessions. The cavity beneath the stand stores the keyboard when not in use, keeping the desk clear without any moving parts to wear out.

Questions about this item

How do I set the correct typing angle on the four-level acrylic riser?

Choose one of the four fixed heights — 0, .39, .47 or .78 inches — by positioning the stand on the matching notch; the step most people miss is peeling the protective film off the acrylic before the first use.

What part of the wrist rest will wear out first and need replacing?

The soft-touch silicone pad can lose its shape or grip after extended daily use; the acrylic frame itself does not degrade.

At what point does the stand stop staying put on a slick desk during long sessions?

The silicone strips on the bottom hold the 16.9 by 5.7 inch base firmly until heavy, sustained keystrokes overcome the friction on very smooth surfaces.
