Bedroom Projection Alarm Clock

The Emerson SC91 projects time and temperature in soft red onto a ceiling or wall with 180-degree adjustable angle and brightness. It includes a wireless indoor/outdoor thermometer and hygrometer for full climate monitoring. A 4.5 inch LCD shows 12 or 24 hour time, date, weekday and 12-hour weather forecast symbols. Two separate alarm schedules cover weekdays, weekends or the full week.

For Home Climate Awareness

Suits anyone who wants projected time visible from bed plus indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity on one screen. Mold risk alerts and barometric trend data help manage living conditions. Not for buyers who need atomic radio-controlled time sync, since the clock requires manual setting. Also not for users who require smartphone connectivity or app integration, which this model lacks.

Sustained Display Operation

The unit runs continuously on the included DC power adapter with adjustable backlit dimmer levels from high to off. Battery backup preserves time and alarm settings during power interruptions. Projection brightness and angle remain stable over long periods without drift. The wireless sensor maintains communication for ongoing temperature and humidity updates throughout daily cycles.

Questions about this item

Does the Emerson SC91 projection alarm clock need a power outlet or can it run on batteries alone?

The SC91 includes an embedded battery and ships with a DC power adapter; the adjustable backlit dimmer has high, medium, low and off settings when connected to mains power.

Will the wireless outdoor sensor that comes with the SC91 work through the walls of an older house?

The wireless indoor/outdoor thermometer transmits temperature and humidity data to the main unit; reception depends on wall materials and distance, so position the sensor within clear line of sight for best results.

How can I confirm the SC91 is projecting the time and temperature correctly after I set it up?

Aim the projector at the ceiling or wall, rotate it up to 180 degrees and adjust brightness; a soft red display of the current time and alternating indoor/outdoor temperature should appear clearly.
