Compact full-range driver
The Eminence Alpha3-32 is a three-inch full-range woofer rated at 32 ohms and 70 watts. Its impedance makes it straightforward to wire several units in series-parallel arrays for distributed sound systems. The driver delivers usable output up to 20000 Hz without a separate tweeter.
Neodymium motor efficiency
An internal neodymium magnet structure reduces moving mass and improves high-frequency extension while keeping power draw modest. The lightweight motor runs cooler during extended playback and adds minimal acoustic coloration. Normal listening levels stay clean with low distortion across the band.
Simple integration for arrays
The 32 ohm rating allows installers to combine multiple drivers without dropping below typical amplifier minimums. Standard terminal blocks accept bare wire or spade connectors for quick, secure hook-ups. The compact frame fits tight enclosures where larger woofers cannot be mounted.

Questions about this item
How do I wire the Alpha3-32 into a multi-driver cabinet, and which step is often missed?
Wire each 32 ohm driver in series-parallel to hit the target load; the step often missed is confirming polarity on every terminal before final soldering.
What part of the Alpha3-32 will need attention or replacement after extended use?
The suspension and cone surround will fatigue first; plan to inspect them periodically and recone when compliance drops.
At what power level does the Alpha3-32 reach its thermal limit during continuous play?
The 70 W rating marks the continuous thermal limit; sustained operation above it will overheat the voice coil.
