12 x 16 Inch Mesh Laundry Bags

These grey honeycomb mesh bags come in a three-pack sized 12 by 16 inches (30 by 40 cm). They suit anyone who washes delicates such as lingerie, baby clothes or socks and wants to prevent snagging or tangling in the machine. The see-through mesh also helps travellers organise luggage or store small items at home.

Capacity and Headroom

Each bag holds a moderate load — bras, underwear, yoga pants or a pair of shoes — but the maker advises filling only to about two-thirds for the best water and detergent flow. Overstuffing restricts circulation and reduces cleaning performance, so bulky items like thick jackets or multiple pairs of jeans will need a larger bag or separate cycles.

Build Quality and Daily Use

Heavy-duty honeycomb mesh resists tearing while letting water and soap pass freely. An anti-rust zipper with auto-lock keeps the bag closed through wash and dry cycles, and a protective zipper cover prevents the pull from snagging other garments. The soft inner lining adds gentle fabric contact, and the transparent mesh makes contents easy to spot whether in the laundry room or a suitcase.

Questions about this item

Will these 12 x 16 inch bags fit inside my older top-loading washing machine without tangling around the agitator?

The 12 by 16 inch size fits most standard machines, and the auto-lock zipper keeps the bag closed so items cannot wrap around an agitator during the cycle.

How can I confirm the honeycomb mesh and auto-lock zipper are protecting delicates during the first wash?

After the cycle, check that the zipper remains fully closed and that delicate fabrics show no snags, tears or tangled straps — the mesh should have allowed water and detergent through for a clean rinse.

What comes in the 3-pack and do I need to buy anything else to use them for travel organisation?

The pack contains three grey 12 x 16 inch mesh laundry bags with rust-resistant auto-lock zippers; no extra accessories are required for washing, travel packing or storage use.
