Compact Digital Luggage Scale

The En Route Travelware PA-25326-2 is a handheld digital scale designed for travellers who need to check bag weight before check-in. It weighs up to 110 lbs or 50 kg with a precision of .1 lb or 50 g and switches between lb, kg and oz units. The backlit LCD remains readable in dim light. A tare function lets you deduct the weight of straps or containers for a true net reading.

Battery-Powered Operation

The unit ships with a battery installed so it works straight from the package. Because it draws only the tiny current needed for the display and sensor, the cell lasts through many trips without replacement. There is no external power adapter or charging cable to pack. The grey housing resists the scuffs of frequent handling.

Sustained Weighing Sessions

Holding the scale steady and level while lifting a heavy case gives a stable reading within seconds. The display holds the value long enough to record it, then powers down to conserve energy. It is not suited for continuous industrial use or loads beyond the rated 110 lbs capacity. Travellers who need higher limits or a hanging hook should consider a different class of scale.

Questions about this item

How do I install the included battery so the backlit LCD works from the first weigh-in?

Open the battery compartment, insert the supplied coin cell with the positive side facing up, then close the cover; the display lights immediately.

What maintenance will the scale need after months of trips?

Wipe the strap and hook with a damp cloth, keep the unit dry, and replace the coin cell when the backlight dims or readings drift.

At what weight does the 0.1 lb precision stop being reliable during a heavy lift?

The scale reads up to 110 lbs with 0.1 lb resolution; beyond that limit the display shows an overload indicator instead of a measurement.
