Bulk Compass Set for Outdoor Activities

This pack contains twelve miniature compass keychains in six colours with two of each shade supplied. The carabiner clips attach to backpacks, belt loops or lanyards so the compass is always to hand. They are intended as novelty or educational items rather than precision navigation tools.

Compact Size and Weight

Each unit measures 6.8 by 3 by 1.1 centimetres and the full set weighs 120 grams. The small footprint means they add almost no bulk to a day pack or pocket. A gentle shake settles the needle for a steadier reading.

No Power Required

The magnetic needle operates without batteries or electronics so there is no heat, noise or power draw to consider. Plastic and metal construction keeps the weight low and the device maintenance free.

Questions about this item

How accurate is the degree marking on a 6.8 cm compass when I'm actually navigating?

The degree markings and orienting arrow let you read a map, but the supplier notes these are oriented as toys rather than professional compasses, so treat them as a general guide only.

What does the magnetic needle actually lock onto in practice?

The needle responds to Earth's magnetic field for basic direction finding; gently shaking the compass helps the needle settle for a more stable reading.

Will the 6.8×3×1.1 cm carabiner clip onto my backpack's gear loops?

The integrated carabiner is sized to attach to standard backpack loops, belt loops or key rings, and the compact 6.8×3×1.1 cm body keeps it from snagging.
