Ready-to-use AA NiMH cells

Four Energizer AA NiMH rechargeable batteries arrive pre-charged at 1.2 V with a 2300 mAh capacity so they work straight from the pack. They suit photographers, gamers and anyone running wireless keyboards, mice, GPS units or MP3 players who want to avoid single-use alkaline waste.

Drop-in replacement for disposable AAs

Each cell fits any standard AA slot without adapters or special chargers beyond a basic NiMH unit. The nickel-metal-hydride chemistry eliminates the need to stock spare alkalines and lets you recharge hundreds of cycles, freeing drawer space and reducing recurring cost for high-drain devices.

Pre-charged convenience with warranty backing

The pack includes four batteries and a limited one-year warranty, so you can verify performance immediately and claim support if a cell falls short. No extra cables, software or proprietary hardware are supplied — just the cells themselves.

Questions about this item

How many charge cycles before the 2300mAh capacity drops noticeably?

Capacity fade depends on usage patterns and charger quality; Energizer rates these NiMH cells for hundreds of cycles when charged correctly.

Do the cells heat up or vent gas during a full-day time-lapse shoot?

Normal operation stays near 1.2 V with minimal heat; only severe overcharge or short-circuit causes venting.

Will they work straight from the pack in a device that needs 1.5 V alkalines?

They ship pre-charged at 1.2 V; most AA gear tolerates the lower voltage, but check the device manual.
