F-Type F81 Coupler for Decorator Plates

The Enerlites 6505-W provides a female-to-female coaxial connection that mounts in a standard decorator wall plate. It suits residential or commercial installs linking cable TV boxes, satellite receivers, DVRs, CCTV cameras or antennas. The white polycarbonate thermoplastic body blends with common décor while meeting UL Listed and FCC Part 68 requirements. Installers receive mounting screws in the single-piece pack.

Heat and Impact Resistance Over Time

The connector housing is moulded from polycarbonate thermoplastic rated to withstand temperatures above 100 degrees without discoloration or fading. A UL 94 V2 flammability rating confirms the material resists ignition under sustained thermal stress. This construction also absorbs hard impacts and heavy force without cracking, so the jack remains secure and functional through years of daily cable mating cycles.

Unbreakable Body With Integrated Metal Plates

Two metal plates are embedded in the thermoplastic frame to reinforce the mounting ears and the F81 barrel interface. The one-gang form factor measures 4 inches high by 1.4 inches long, fitting standard decorator openings without adapters. UL listing and FCC Part 68 compliance mean the assembly meets recognised safety and telecommunications standards for permanent in-wall installation.

Questions about this item

Does the UL94 V2-rated polycarbonate thermoplastic stay stable when the wall plate runs warm all day?

The material is heat- and fade-resistant to over 100 degrees and carries a UL94 V2 flammability rating, so it resists discoloration and degradation during continuous operation.

What must already be in place to mount this F81 coupler insert?

A decorator-style wall plate opening and the included mounting screws are all that are required for installation.

Will the female-to-female F81 barrel connect legacy devices such as VCRs and older CCTV cameras?

Yes — the connector is designed for cable TV boxes, satellite receivers, DVRs, VCRs, CCTV, antennas and other audio/video connections using standard F-type coaxial cables.
