Rugged two-way radio handset

The EnGenius DuraWalkie PRO is a handset built for rugged industrial environments where reliable voice communication is essential. It operates as a dedicated two-way radio without the ability to place outgoing telephone calls. The unit is designed to integrate with DuraFon PRO systems and includes hearing-aid compatibility for broader accessibility.

Simple pairing with DuraFon PRO base

Installation consists of registering the handset to a compatible DuraFon PRO base station, a process that typically takes a few minutes through the on-screen menu. The 2.5 mm headset jack allows hands-free operation with standard accessories. Issues usually arise when the handset is paired to an incompatible base or when the headset plug is not fully seated, causing intermittent audio.

Teams needing radio-only handsets

This handset suits work crews who require push-to-talk range across a facility without the cost or complexity of full telephone features. It is not intended for users who need direct dial-tone access, voicemail retrieval or smartphone integration. Buyers needing multi-line desk phones or cellular fallback should consider other device types.
