Builders requiring a different frequency band or protocol should look at other options.

Questions about this item

What does the 902 MHz to 928 MHz frequency range mean for range and interference?

The 902 MHz to 928 MHz band is a licence-free ISM allocation that avoids crowded FRS and GMRS channels, giving clearer voice paths in marinas and on deck.

Will the 5.6" height and 2.4" width fit in a standard console cut-out?

At 5.6 inches high, 2.4 inches wide and 1.5 inches deep the handset sits in the included desktop charger without overhanging most helm cut-outs.

How do I pair the handset with my DuraFon PRO base, and what step do installers miss?

Seat the Li-Ion battery, place the handset in the desktop charger, then follow the base-station registration menu; the step often missed is confirming the handset shows "Registered" before removing it from the charger.
