Red Cryogen 5 cooling pad for 17-inch laptops

The Enhance Cryogen 5 is a red laptop cooling pad built to support devices up to 17 inches. It targets gamers and power users who need extra airflow during long sessions. The pad uses five fans to move ambient air upward across the laptop base. Adjustable height settings add ergonomic flexibility for typing or gaming.

Five fans with adjustable speed and LED wheel

One 140 mm fan spins at 1264 RPM while four 70 mm fans run at 2630 RPM. A single control wheel adjusts both fan power and LED brightness together. The red, blue and green LEDs brighten as fan speed increases. Front bumpers flip up to keep the laptop from sliding off the mesh metal grate.

Dual USB port and physical dimensions to verify

The pad includes a dual USB hub so one port connects to the laptop while the other remains free for a peripheral. Overall size is 7.8994 cm x 34.3916 cm x 43.9928 cm and weight is 2.9 pounds. Check that your desk space and USB cable reach suit these measurements before ordering.

Questions about this item

Do the five fans or the USB pass-through port need periodic cleaning or replacement?

The five fans — one 140 mm at 1264 RPM and four 70 mm at 2630 RPM — should be dusted occasionally; the dual USB port is solid-state and needs no replacement.

What stops the cooling pad from running louder or faster during a marathon gaming session?

The manual wheel caps fan speed at 1264 RPM for the large fan and 2630 RPM for the four smaller fans, so noise and airflow cannot exceed those limits.

How much heat and noise does the pad add when it runs all day at full power?

At maximum the 140 mm fan spins at 1264 RPM and the four 70 mm fans at 2630 RPM; the unit draws power from a single USB port and is described as ultra quiet.
