4.25 in OD Matte Black Shower Drain Kit

This 12 pack of Enhon Enhon-Drains-020 assemblies fits 2 in. Schedule 40 ABS and PVC pipes. Each unit has a stainless steel cap with a matte black finish and an ABS base. The round grid strainer cover measures 4.25 in. outer diameter with a 2-7/8 in. prong to prong span. The design targets DIY shower drain repair on preformed bases.

Suits DIYers replacing drains on preformed shower

Buyers who need a different pipe schedule or a larger outer diameter cannot use this kit. The fixed 4.25 in. cover and 2 in. Schedule 40 fitment limit compatibility. Installers working with metal piping or non-standard flange sizes should look at other options.

Snap in installation with a 2.76 in.

The strainer snaps into the base and the tightening ring secures the assembly to the pipe. The removable grid allows hair and debris cleaning without tools. Misalignment of the caulking ring during tightening is the most common cause of leaks.

Questions about this item

Does the 4.25 in. outer diameter cover fit a 2 in. Schedule 40 pipe I already have?

Yes, the drain assembly is designed to fit 2 in. Schedule 40 ABS and PVC pipes directly.

Will the matte black stainless steel cover clash with older chrome fixtures in the same bathroom?

The matte black finish is a neutral tone that coordinates with mixed-metal bathrooms without reflecting glare.

How can I confirm the 2.76 in. caulking design is sealed correctly after installation?

Run water and check that no moisture appears around the base; the prongs should sit flush in the preformed shower base.
