Handmade Wool Flatweave Rug

This EORC flatweave rug is hand-crafted from wool in a blue Moroccan trellis design with ivory accents. The reversible construction provides two usable surfaces for versatile placement in living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas or offices. Its low-profile pile sits flat on the floor for a clean, contemporary look.

5' x 8' Coverage with Low-Shedding Pile

The 5' by 8' rectangle suits medium-sized rooms and fits under standard furniture groupings. A pile height of .25 inches keeps the surface low-shedding and manageable in medium to high-traffic zones. The flatweave structure offers durability without the bulk of deeper piles, though it provides less cushioning than plush alternatives.

Cool Wool Surface with Simple Maintenance

Natural wool fibres stay cool underfoot and resist static buildup during daily use. Routine care involves vacuuming on a low-pile setting and spot cleaning with cold water and mild soap when needed. Prolonged direct sunlight should be avoided to preserve the blue and ivory colourway over time.

Questions about this item

Will the 0.25-inch pile height let the rug sit flush against my existing low-pile carpet without bunching?

The flatweave construction and low 0.25-inch pile are designed to lay flat, reducing bunching when placed over thin carpet or hard floors.

How can I confirm the reversible design is holding up after a few weeks of use?

Flip the rug periodically; both sides should show the same blue and ivory trellis pattern with no visible wear or fibre distortion on either face.

Does the rug arrive with a non-slip backing or do I need to buy a separate pad?

The rug includes a latex feature but no attached non-slip backing; a separate rug pad is recommended for hard floors to prevent sliding.
