Compact 75% Layout

The Epomaker Ajazz AK820 Pro is a 75% wireless mechanical gaming keyboard with 81 keys in a purple and white colourway. It uses linear Gift switches mounted on a hot-swappable PCB and a gasket structure for a consistent typing feel. The compact form factor suits gamers and professionals who want more desk space without losing dedicated function keys.

Connectivity and Battery

Three connection modes are available: Bluetooth 5.1, 2.4 GHz wireless and USB-C wired. A 4000mAh battery powers the keyboard during wireless use and can be recharged over the wired link. The TFT smart display shows battery status, active connection mode and system information at a glance.

Build and Daily Use

Keycaps are made from PBT plastic in an OEM profile for durability and a non-greasy surface. The 1.6 million colour RGB backlight is adjustable via onboard shortcuts or Windows-only driver software. A multifunction knob controls volume and lighting effects, while five internal padding layers help dampen keystroke sound.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Epomaker Ajazz AK820 Pro and which step causes issues?

Connect the 2.4 GHz dongle, pair via Bluetooth 5.1, or plug the USB-C cable; the driver for RGB customisation only runs on Windows, so Mac users cannot install it.

What maintenance or replacement will the keyboard need later?

The hot-swap sockets let you replace any of the 81 linear switches without soldering, and the PBT OEM keycaps resist shine longer than ABS.

What limit appears first during sustained use?

The 4000 mAh battery sets the wireless runtime; once depleted you must switch to the wired USB-C connection to continue typing.
