Layout and build

The Epomaker F99 is a 96% layout gaming keyboard with 99 keys in a white grey finish. It uses a gasket-mounted structure with a single-key slotted FR4 PCB and five layers of padding including IXPE, PORON and silicone. The case is plastic and the board is powered by an 8000mAh battery.

Connectivity and switches

Tri-mode Bluetooth, 2.4GHz and wired USB-C lets the keyboard pair with Windows, macOS, iOS and Android devices. Hot-swappable sockets accept the pre-lubed linear Reaper switches rated at 45gf actuation and 55gf bottom-out with 1.8mm pre-travel and 3.6mm total travel. RGB backlighting offers 16 effects and 8 colours.

Battery capacity

The 8000mAh battery is the single figure that determines how long the keyboard runs between charges in wireless modes. Buyers who need multi-week uptime without recharging should verify this capacity meets their usage pattern; those who mostly work wired can treat it as a secondary benefit.
