Aluminium 96% Gaming Keyboard

The Epomaker Galaxy100 Lite is a 96-per-cent layout mechanical keyboard built with an aluminium case and gasket-mounted structure. It ships with factory-lubed Wisteria Linear switches rated at 45/62 gf actuation and 2.0/3.6 mm travel, plus PBT Cherry-profile keycaps. Three connectivity modes — USB-C wired, 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth — serve PC, Mac and Android devices. An 8000 mAh battery powers the board for extended wireless sessions.

Hot-Swap Installation and Common Issues

The PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches, so users can swap switches without soldering using the included puller. Extra Wisteria Linear and Marble White switches are supplied in the box for immediate replacement. The most frequent issue is forgetting to pair the 2.4 GHz dongle or Bluetooth profile after a switch change, which leaves the board unresponsive until the correct mode is selected. Keycap stem tightness on the PBT set can also make first-time removal feel stiff.

Compatibility Check Before Ordering

Verify that your operating system is Windows, macOS or Android; the keyboard is not compatible with PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch. Confirm you have a free USB-A port for the 2.4 GHz receiver or a USB-C port for wired use. The 15.94 in by 5.43 in footprint requires adequate desk space, and the aluminium construction adds noticeable weight compared with plastic boards. QMK and VIA configurators run in a browser, so no driver installation is needed.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 8000mAh battery is holding charge after setup?

The keyboard will pair and operate over Bluetooth or 2.4GHz without the USB cable connected; the OS battery indicator should show a charge level that decreases slowly over days of normal use.

Which items in the package contents are included and what must I source myself?

Included: keyboard, detachable USB A-to-C cable, 2-in-1 keycap-and-switch puller, two extra mechanical switches, three Mac supplementary keycaps, one 2.4GHz dongle. No separate purchase is required for basic operation.

Should I choose the Wisteria Linear V2 at 45/62gf or the Marble White at 42/47gf for a lighter feel?

Marble White has the lighter actuation at 42gf and lower bottom-out at 47gf, making it the lighter option; Wisteria Linear V2 actuates at 45gf and bottoms out at 62gf for a firmer stroke.
