Compact bedside clock with battery backup

The Equity by La Crosse 30228 is a mains-powered digital alarm clock with a 9 V battery backup that keeps time during power cuts. Its 0.60 inch red LED display shows the time clearly in a dark room. The unit measures 4.5 inches wide by 1.85 inches deep by 2.65 inches high and finished in black. It suits anyone who wants a simple, reliable wake-up device without wireless features.

Plug-in operation frees a socket for other devices

The clock connects directly to a standard wall outlet, so it does not occupy a power strip or USB port. The slim 1.85 inch depth lets it sit on a narrow nightstand or desk without crowding books, lamps or a phone charger. Battery backup is built in, so no separate UPS or backup module is required. The eight-minute snooze button is on the top for easy reach while lying down.

Replaces battery-only travel clocks

Buyers moving up from pure battery clocks gain continuous operation without daily winding or frequent cell changes. The jump is worth it when a power cut would otherwise reset the alarm and cause a missed appointment. It is not for users who need a radio tuner, wireless charging pad, temperature sensor or smartphone app control.
