Hard hat for industrial head protection

The DELTAPLUS Americana hard hat meets ANSI Z89.1 Type 1 Class C requirements for impact resistance. A full-brim polyethylene shell provides coverage from falling objects and overhead hazards. The gray finish carries no high-visibility graphics. Venting in the shell allows airflow during extended wear.

Ratchet suspension adjusts without tools

A four-point ratchet system lets the wearer tighten or loosen the fit by turning a knob while the hat stays on the head. The suspension accommodates hat sizes from 6-1/2 through 8. No accessory slots are moulded into the shell, so clips or lamp brackets cannot be added. Ventilation ports are fixed and cannot be closed.

Suits workers needing basic Type 1 protection

This model fits crews who require a vented, full-brim hat with a simple ratchet adjustment and no accessory mounts. Buyers who need Class E electrical insulation, high-visibility colours, or slots for face shields and hearing protection should look at a different hard hat.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Americana hard hat is protecting me correctly after I adjust the 4-point ratchet?

The hat meets ANSI Z 89.1 Type 1 Class C requirements, so a secure, level fit with the ratchet tightened and the polyethylene shell free of cracks shows it is working as intended.

What components come with the Americana 4-point ratchet hard hat and what must I purchase separately?

The unit includes the gray polyethylene shell with full brim, venting and the built-in 4-point ratchet suspension sized for hat sizes 6-1/2 to 8; no accessory mounts are included, so any face shields or hearing protection must be bought separately.

Which version of the Americana hard hat should I choose for a Type 1 Class C job site requirement?

The gray Americana model WEL19637GY is rated ANSI Z 89.1 Type 1 Class C with a 4-point ratchet suspension, full brim and venting, matching that exact specification.
