Americana Hard Hat Type 1 Class E

This hard hat is a Type 1 Class E head protection device built for industrial and construction workers who need basic impact and electrical insulation. The polyethylene shell uses a front-brim design and meets the ANSI Z 89.1 standard for safety compliance.

Four-Point Pinlock Suspension Fit

The four-point pinlock suspension adjusts to fit head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8 without tools. This system secures the shell firmly on the wearer so the hat stays in place during active work while allowing quick size changes between users.

Non-Vented Black Shell For General Use

The solid black polyethylene shell has no venting and carries no high-visibility graphics. It suits crews who need a standard, non-vented hat for general job-site duties. Workers who require vented cooling or high-visibility colour options should look at a different model.

Questions about this item

How often should the 4-point pinlock suspension be replaced?

Replace the suspension when straps show fraying, cracking or loss of elasticity, following the manufacturer's service-life guidance.

What is the first limit reached during all-day wear in hot conditions?

The non-vented polyethylene shell traps heat, so thermal comfort becomes the limiting factor before the hat's impact protection is compromised.

Does the hard hat generate any noise or heat during continuous use?

The hat has no moving parts and produces no noise; heat builds up inside the non-vented shell during extended wear.
